Gail Banim has joined RaboDirect as head of marketing in place of Martin O’Leary, who has taken on a similar role at Realex Payments. Banim will be responsible for developing the online savings bank’s strategy in Ireland. She joins from Betdaq sports betting exchange, where she was brand manager and, more recently, marketing manager.
She launched and ran The Design Agency and was brand manager with Global Betting Exchange (GBE). Her career began in design and she worked with companies in Australia and Ireland, including Paddy Power where she was a senior designer and usability expert. She has a BA from UCC and a multimedia certificate from City and Guilds.
