Boxing reality show raises over €100,000 for charities

Charity Lord of the Rings, the reality show which pitched ten people from the world of business, sport and media in a boxing ring, raised €109,000 for various charities. Sean Gallagher, the Cavan-born boss of Smart Homes, who featured in Dragons’ Den, and TV presenter Joe O’Shea each generated €17,350 for the National Council of the Blind and the RNLI respectively. The show’s sponsor was Sona Vitamins.
