Burns takes charge at Publicis QMP

Padraig Burns, Publicis QMP

Padraig Burns has taken over as managing director of Publicis QMP following the decision by Tom Doherty to step down a few months ago. Burns joined the agency from McConnells and became deputy managing director. He has over 20 years experience working in adland, including a lengthy stay at Arks.

The announcement by Doherty to quit adland came as a surprise. He was regarded as one of the top agency bosses in Irish advertising. He took over the reins at Publicis QMP from Conor Quinn, having worked with a number of local agencies, including Peter Owens, Arks and Hunters (now Y&R).

QMP Publicis clients include Beamish & Crawford, Cadbury, Dublin Airport Authority (DAA), IDA Ireland, FBD, Meteor, Permanent TSB, Procter & Gamble, Renault and VHI.
