Hand-crafted jewellery, fashion, handbags, accessories, knitwear, photography, books, games, ceramics, giftware, art and cosmetics will all feature. Among those taking part are Rebeka Kahn (pictured above ), Mary Varilly of Truecolours, Dawn Mulholland of Shine, Melanie Hand Design Jewellery, scarf designer Susannagh Grogan and Michael Cullen of Gregmar Books, author of Ash, Sure What Of It.

Georgina Sweetnam of the DLRCEB said Dalkey’s winter fair weekend has grown in popularity every year as it gives members of the public a rare opportunity to meet all the designers behind the work. For the craftsperson, it gives them an ideal platform to showcase their new collections in time for the Christmas market.

The sixth annual fair opens its doors to the public from 11am to 5pm in Dalkey Castle and Heritage Centre on Saturday, November 13th and Sunday, November 14th. There is pay and display car parking nearby and visitors are encouraged to use the DART or other public transport serving Dalkey where possible.
