Dunne joins Epsilon as planning director

James Dunne, Huskies

James Dunne has just been appointed as Epsilon Dublin’s new senior planning director from In the Company of Huskies. Dunne’s job will be to help build a team of strategists and to plan for Epsilon’s clients. He will report to the agency’s country manager, Emmet McCaughey. Dunne’s recruitment follows Mark Fiddes joining as European executive creative director from IdeaMotel.

At Huskies, Dunne helped grow the agency’s strategic offering to include big data and cultural influence mapping. He worked on Tullamore D.E.W, Fáilte Ireland (Wild Atlantic Way, Dublin branding) and Ulster Bank and various new business pitches. As planning boss at Target McConnells, he worked on Topaz ‘Play or Park’, Guinness and Vodafone. Dunne will be based in Epsilon’s Dublin office.
