Unilever is spending €500,000 on media for its first new Lynx range this year. A commercial called The Fall shows seven scantily clad angels falling out of the sky lured by the scent of Lynx Excite. The commercial was directed by Rupert Sanders, who made X Box’s Halo 3 Believe video game ad.

In its product publicity, Unilever says Lynx Excite “fuses leafy greens and woody tones laced with amber and caramel”. The range includes eau de toilette, bodyspray, anti-perspirant and show gel. Media buying in Ireland is handled by Mindshare and public relations by Thinkhouse.
