Three finalists in line for Marketer of the Year

The shortlist for this year’s Marketer of the Year award has been confirmed. The three finalists are Largo Foods’ head of marketing Alina Ui Chaollai, Adam Bacon, VHI’s head of marketing and Dervila McGarry for her strategies at Aer Lingus. The next stage of the competition sees the three marketers attend interviews with the judges.

The winner will be announced at a lunch in Fade St Social restaurant on November 17. Now in its 24th year, Marketer of the Year is seen as the premier award in recognising and saluting marketing excellence in Ireland – in line with the competition’s slogan: ‘Every year there is only one’ – and specifically for work done over the past two years.

The person is someone through strategy, innovation, communications and impact on the marketplace has made their brand, product or service an outstanding success. Submissions must outline the scale of the marketing challenge faced, the key aims and objectives, the strategy adopted and implications for the business in sales and awareness.

Award entrants must also outline how the success was measured.

Marketer of the Year is a Marketing.ie initiative sponsored by Alternatives.
