U2 gig on YouTube attracts seven million

About seven milllion people watched the YouTube streaming of the U2 concert at the Pasadena Rose Bowl in Los Angeles with fans from Australia, Brazil, India, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand and Japan watching the gig broadcast on YouTube yesterday at 3am Irish time.
It is the first time a major international concert was streamed on the video-sharing website. Youtube has started streaming Hollywood films to US users and plans to provide a catch-up service for Channel 4 shows from early next year.
