Car servicing company Advance Pitstop has been rebranded as BestDrive by Continental. The name change forms a €2.5 million investment in the Irish business by parent company Continental AG. The rebrand will see an upgrade to customer facilities available in the 29 branches across Ireland, as the company positions itself for expansion and market growth.
Service improvements include fully digitalised branches for tracking of vehicle work and the introduction of free car cleaning with full services. The company handles around 155,000 maintenance, tyres and car servicing jobs. First founded in 1871, Continental AG bought Advance Tyre company in 1968 from Dunlop and has traded in Ireland ever since.
In the 1980’s, Advance Tyre became Advance Pitstop to reflect its move into full car servicing.
