Sarah Pinto is marketing director at Mondelez Ireland, the US company whose brands include Cadbury’s Dairy Milk, Oreo biscuits and Philadelphia cheese. She has worked in international marketing roles in Ireland, the UK and France.
01 When are you happiest?
In the morning, surrounded by my family. I like noisy starts as the chaos means everyone is alive and together
02 What’s your most treasured possession?
A small necklace with my sons’ names and a little red heart. Nothing fancy, just full of meaning

I’m a Meta fan, Facebook sometimes. But most of all Instagram, where food, beauty and life come to life in pictures
04 What’s the worst job you’ve ever done?
As a mascot for an amusement park. Wow, it was hot in that cow’s costume

Mélissa Da Costa. Her book, Tout le Bleu du Ciel, moved me deeply; it stays with your soul long after the last page

I’ve a Spotify account where I’m big into DJ remix
07 A film you’d watch again tonight?
Miss Congeniality. It brings me back to my teens years
08 What do some people think about you that isn’t true?
That I’m always confident and composed. I care deeply and can doubt myself a lot more than people think

My two boys

At home ‘together’, at work ‘leadership’

13 A brand experience that disappointed you?
Recently I’ve been influenced by a promising lip ink that you apply blue, dries out and you peel it. It’s supposed to last the whole day. Ended up with blue on my teeth and it lasted only a couple of hours. Don’t believe all you see on Instagram

Iain Livingston – my mentor
15 Most embarrassing experience?
At a recent conference my name tag read ‘Sarah Pinot’. I’d no idea my love of wine was so obvious
16 Someone or something that strikes you as beautiful?
The quiet joy of my boys playing together in the morning sun
17 In what other era would you like to have been born?
The 1920’s, for the elegance, the jazz, and the energy of women starting to reshape the world

“Leadership is not about being in charge. It’s about taking care of those in your charge”
19 What would be your fantasy act of heroism?
Opening a big, warm house like Joséphine Baker’s, a place filled with love, laughter and second chances. A home where orphaned or abandoned children from all backgrounds could grow up feeling safe and seen

Raclette with a glass of Burgundy. Followed by a slice of lemon tart with Champagne
