As part of Mondeléz International’s ongoing strategy to reduce its international agency roster, Cadbury’s owner is to end its relationship with Publicis Dublin from the end of the year and move to the hub agency, Fallon in London. Publicis has handled the account for 12 years and has created some of the brand’s most memorable campaigns, winning three Adfx awards.
Publicis Dublin boss Padraig Burns told Marketing.ie he was obviously disappointed with the news, “not only for ourselves but for the industry here”. He said Cadbury is an iconic brand for which the agency had done some of their best work. “We’d like to thank Cadbury/Mondeléz for their business over the years and we hope to welcome them back some day,” Burns added.
