Core Media has taken third place in the medium-sized company category in the latest Best Workplaces 2016 listings. The media group, headed by Alan Cox (pictured), was pipped for the top spot by Mars Ireland in second place and category winner, the Irish Stock Exchange. Other companies in the medium-size top 10 were Morgan McKinley, Ergo and Barry Group.
Salesforce was the top large company. Core Media topped the medium category for companies and groups employing 101 to 250 staff in 2014. Cox was voted the most trusted business leader the year before. The criteria for the best places to work includes employee trust in management, pride in the work they do and enjoying a high degree of camaraderie.
Julian Yarr of A&L Goodbody was voted this year’s most trusted leader.
