Mastercard is involved in the launch of a new debit card which consumers are urged to use to settle regular bills, from mobile phone and electricity charges to car tax and TV licence payments. Users can top up the Utilize card with amounts of €25 and more.
The marketers of Utilize are urging Irish consumers to give the card to loved ones this Christmas as a handy way of paying off bills in January. Once the card has been received, it must be activated on the Utilize website or on the brand’s dedicated phone line.
