Publicis QMP was the major winner at the annual Institute of Creative Advertising and Design (ICAD) awards scooping five silver bells for press and radio work for TG4 and No Nonsense.ie. TG4 won the client award. The TG4 successes follow on from the agency’s grand prix win at the recent NNI Power of the Press awards.

Chemistry won two silvers and a bronze, a silver for Trocaire’s ‘Row Row’ direct response radio campaign and a silver and bronze for 4FM’s ‘Mixed Tape’ work. Irish International also won two silvers, one for the Irish Independent and its ‘Shots’ radio spot and the other for Guinness ‘Dark Life’ TV.
Silvers went to Boys and Girls for John West and McCann Erickson for Directski. Blinder won a silver for best TV direction. Among the agencies which were awarded bronze bells were Cawley NeaTBWA, CKSK, Ogilvy and Rothco. Special guest on the night was British ad veteran David Trott.
