The National Maternity Hospital (NMH) and the NMH Foundation have entered into a strategic partnership with RollerCoaster.ie, part of the DMG Ireland media network. The deal will see the NMH and RollerCoaster.ie share educational content across patient healthcare – from initial consultation to hospital admission and post-discharge care.
Rollercoaster.ie is a pregnancy, parenting and family life website owned by DMG Ireland.
The two parties will create a suite of resources to inform, educate and support women on their healthcare. The suite will be designed to progress and help extend the reach and benefits of services offered across the hospital, including maternal and infant care, gynaecological, dietary and support services provided by the NMH.
Liz Doyle, commercial manager, Rollercoaster.ie, said DMG will develop digital content, podcasts and educational videos, which will be used as informational and educational aids. “It’s our hope that some of our services, such as dietary, post-natal and baby-care can be translated into high-quality, educational videos for patient use,” Doyle added.
