Skoda Ireland has signed a one-year title sponsorship deal with The Anton Savage Show on Today FM for an undisclosed sum. The deal sees the car brand incorporated into the show by integrating taglines at pivotal points. It includes three hourly stings and 10 branded trailers a week, plus brand promotions aimed at the show’s radio, online and mobile audiences.
There are seven Skoda passenger cars – Citigo, Fabia, Rapid, Octavia, Yeti and Superb. Skoda sold 7,816 cars in Ireland last year, up 24 per cent on 2014, through a network of 26 dealers with a market share of 6.3 per cent. Skoda has been part of the VW Group since 1993.
