Love Irish Food awards get underway

Today, Love Irish Food in partnership with Exterion Media, the market leader in outdoor advertising in Ireland, has launched the annual Love Irish Food Brand Development Award. The Award aims to give one Love Irish Food member brand a powerful platform to promote their brand to consumers. Love Irish Food is partnering with out of home company Exterion Media to launch the annual brand development award. The prize gives one Love Irish Food member €70,000 worth of advertising space on Exterion’s retail six sheets, PurchasePoints and across the company’s digital network. The OOH campaign will run nationally for two weeks.

The prize includes print production and animation for broadcast on digital network. To mark the award’s fourth year, OwensDDB will provide the winner with an €8,000 creative bursary towards the winning outdoor campaign. Love Irish Food and Exterion Media will work closely with the winning brand to plan the campaign and fulfil objectives.

To enter, Love Irish Food members must register at loveirishfood.ie by close of business on Friday, October 2. Submissions must be in by Friday, October  23. Judges include Kieran Rumley, executive director, Love Irish Food, Antoinette O’Callaghan, marketing manager, Exterion Media and Barry Dooley, CEO, Advertising Association of Ireland (AAI).
