Afternoon Show makes its return on RTE One

RTE One’s flagship daytime TV show, The Afternoon Show, returns weekdays from Monday, September 7th with regular co-host Sheana Keane. Sile Seoige will deputise for regular co-host Blathnaid Ni Chofaigh while she recovers from a minor procedure.
There was some speculation that the show, which last season had an average audience of about 110,000 per show, may not return in the autumn following accusations of bullying and rumours that Keane and Ni Chofaigh did not get along too well.
RTE has refused to comment on reports that Ni Chofaigh is suing the station. The series returns with a later and longer slot, starting at 4pm and finishing at 5.45pm each weekday until next May.
