Chill Insurance is sponsoring the Christmas movies on RTE again this year. Having been the sponsor of the RTE mid-week movies since June, Chill has extended its contract with the national broadcaster to sponsor the line-up of over 60 films during the festive season for an undisclosed fee. The insurer has taken to the streets to pay homage to the entertainment on offer by asking people to give them their best movie quote.
“With every great movie comes a great quote and this is exactly what Chill Insurance does,” the company’s head of marketing Fergal Lynch said. “We compare 14 different insurers for our customers. We opted for a different angle on the movie sponsorship stings this year by asking the people who watch the movies and are insurance consumers to give us their favourite movie quote.”
To tie in with the launch of the festive movies today, Chill has a competition offering free car insurance to the value of €500. Viewers vote on the Chill Facebook page for their favourite movie quotes. The quotes will be on the sponsor’s YouTube channel with links to see them on Facebook.
