A day-long conference on marketing communications will be held in the DCU Ryan Academy in the Citywest Business Campus this Thursday. Marketing and Communications – The Right Fit is organised by the university’s Entrepreneur Skillnet group with Howard Kent (pictured) of Anchora Solutions as facilitator.
Anchora specialises in business turnaround, development and growth, with the aim of boosting client acquisition, sales and profit. Seminar speakers include Aideen Murphy, Kraft Foods, who will talk about Cadbury’s Dairy Milk integrated work; Roddy Guiney, WHPR and Eddie Cunningham, Irish Independent.
Cunningham will give an insight into what journalists want in a press release. Susan Kennedy of Lensmen Photography will focus on how to look for the unexpected angle in a photo. Two afternoon workshops will discuss how to build a marketing campaign, set up social media pages and use LinkedIn for sales.
