Drohan replaces Kiernan as BBDO’s CFO

David Drohan has been confirmed as the new chief financial officer (CFO) at BBDO Dublin. He replaces Allen Kiernan who has been with the agency, formerly known as Irish International, since 1991. Drohan joins from NextRoll – formerly Adroll – where he was financial director since 2016. Prior to this, he was group financial controller at gaming tech firm Havok.

Drohan will report to CEO Neal Davies and join the agency’s senior management team.

Kiernan is to stay on as a strategic advisor to BBDO team during a transition period, before leaving for good to work on other business ventures he plans to pursue. Drohan trained as an accountant with Deloitte, is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a masters in accounting from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
