Gavin Duffy, media training coach, entrepreneur and part of the Dragons’ Den panel of judges on RTE 1 Television, is to work with Cork agency H+A Marketing+PR. Duffy will provide media training sessions for the agency’s client base in Munster, along with any new clients which want stand-alone media training.
Aideen McGrath, director, H+A Marketing+PR, said the agency was already the leading provider of media training in Munster and by teaming up with Duffy they will add an extra dimension to their offering. Clients can choose from a half-day session or a full day for up to five employees, along with one-on-one training.
H+A Media Training uses a variety of real broadcast studio situations to test and prepare clients, including live simulations of TV interviews and radio phone-in discussion panels. H+A clients include Blarney Woollen Mills, Carry Out drinks, Cork Chamber, Irish Aid, Kedco, Old Head Golf Links and Quintas financial services.
Duffy is a former chief executive of LMFM, the local station broadcasting in Louth and Meath and an economics columnist with the Sunday Independent. He is a well known advocate of fox hunting in Ireland.
