The mortgage department at EBS has launched a new out of home (OOH) campaign directly meeting Bank of Ireland’s call to ‘Begin’ head-on with a wink, asking those those thinking of entering the mortgage market to consider their options before they begin and ‘Look a Little Further’ with EBS. The ads will run for the next four weeks.
EBS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AIB.
Some of the sites are located close to Bank of Ireland branches across a mix of prime 48 sheets, Metropole and Digipole sites across Dublin city centre to the M50. Created by BBDO Dublin, the EBS campaign takes a leaf out of the Burger King v McDonald’s s playbook. It is rare if not unheard of for an Irish financial lender to take a slight dig at a rival.
