Ervia to see creative and media agencies

Ervia has finalised the preliminary stage of its group agency services review and will invite a number of creative and media shops to present in the coming weeks. Pitches will be made for Ervia’s Irish Water and Gas Networks Ireland utilities. It is understood that both incumbents, Accenture Interactive’s Rothco and Dentsu Aegis Network’s Carat, will present.

A spokesman for Ervia said that as the agency review involves a public tender, the company was unable to make any comment on the matter until the process is complete. The review is being managed by Claire Cluskey’s Empirica working to chief communications and marketing officer Orlaith Blaney and group head of brand and marketing Mark Grehan.

Meanwhile, DAA has completed its review of agency services, after seeing pitches from a list of unnamed creative, media and digital shops. Following presentations made to a DAA team, led by Dublin Airport’s head of marketing Louise Bannon, Rothco and Core’s Spark Foundry were retained. Zoo won the digital account previously handled by the now closed CKSK.

Wolfgang Digital was retained to handle DAA’s search.

A DAA spokesperson declined to name the full list of agencies which pitched.
