Efforts to raise more funds for cancer research in Ireland have received a boost with the launch of a Pink Ribbon soap bar by the Marie Keating Foundation (MKF). The goat’s milk lemon-lavender scented soap is a 100 per cent natural, hand-made product.
Its marketers, Make it Natural, will donate all profits from its sales to MKF. The soap, priced €5.50, joins other MKF products such as Pink Ribbon keyrings, golf pins, phone charms and car magnets, along with a range of items sold by Marks & Spencer.
The M&S range, which allows a percentage to be donated to the foundation, includes bra straps from brastraps.ie and the ‘Look Good, Feel Good’ book. The soap bar launch coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness month during October.
