The Dublin office of public relations agency Grayling has been appointed by Allianz Worldwide Care (AWC) to co-ordinate its European programme with a particular focus on markets in the UK, France, Holland and Switzerland. AWC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Allianz Group, which provides international health insurance for employees, individuals and their dependents, regardless of where they are in the world.

Dublin-based AWC made the choice after a three-way pitch. Allianz Ireland is handled by Pembroke Communications and this week it announced its sponsorship of Paralympics Ireland in a two year deal. Allianz has been the gold patron of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) for the past five years.
