HSE Covid-19 again tops BrandShout list

The Government’s HSE Covid-19 campaign devised by TBWA\Dublin and Spark Foundry has again topped the BrandShout list of most recalled ads by Irish consumers in July after first becoming the league leader in April, research by Ipsos MRBI for Marketing.ie shows. The Covid-19 ads have run across all media since the coronavirus outbreak.

German discounter Aldi remains in second place, with Vodafone jumping two places to fifth. Lidl drops one place to fourth, while Three is up from 10th place to five. Next up is Virgin Media, which was in ninth position in June. SuperValu drops one place to seventh, while Guinness is a new addition to the latest brands table in eight place.

Eir drops one place to ninth and the top 10 is completed by new arrival Nike. There are five brands in 11th place – 123.ie (new); Cadbury (down from 21); followed by Coca-Cola, Sky and Kerrygold, all new entrants. In 16th place in July was AIB, down three places from 13th. Harvey Norman dropped three places to share joint 17th position.

The other three brands at 17 are Hyundai (new), Quote Devil (new) and Tesco, down from seventh place. BrandShout is part of the Ipsos MRBI Omnipoll telesurvey which comprises interviews with a new, national panel of 1,000 adults in Ireland every fortnight.
