Irish International has won the creative work for the State-sponsored inward promotion agency the Industrial Development Authority, more widely known as IDA Ireland. For over 50 years, the IDA has been charged with attracting foreign direct investment to Ireland and in that time has helped over 1,150 overseas clients set up operations in Ireland.
Previously with Publicis, DDFH&B also presented for the business. Although the IDA’s creative work would not be seen as a major earner for agencies, the account is valued as a prestigious and credible brand name to have as a client. McConnells’ IDA work was especially well regarded and developed a high profile during the years John Fanning and Catherine Donnelly were involved.
