JCDecaux rolls out new digital screens in Dublin

JCDecaux have launched a brand new network of 43 digital screens in Dublin city centre. The Digipanels replace a network of paper poster units. The introduction of Digipanels marks a number of significant firsts in the digital out of home (DOOH) market. Up until now, the company’s DOOH networks have been confined to shopping centres and transport hubs.

The Digipanel is the first DOOH screen in the Republic which is on-street, giving advertisers access to consumers in key commercial and sought-after areas of the capital. The screens are 86 inches making them the largest units of their kind in Ireland and images are broadcast in 4K, ultra HD which ensures advertisers that only high quality posters are on display.

Digipanel clients can change their messaging in real time and multiple times over a campaign, allowing them to communicate in a more contextualised and relevant way. To mark the launch, JCDecaux are running a Dynamic campaign, with each city location hosting a street greeting which updates depending on weather conditions and time of day.
