Places to hear the three finalists in this year’s Marketer of the Year awards address an industry breakfast hosted by The Irish Times on Tuesday, November 29, are being snapped up fast. The three finalists are Dervila McGarry, head of marketing, Aer Lingus, Adam Bacon, head of marketing, Vhi and Alina Ui Chaollai, marketing director, Largo Foods. Bacon, right, was named as the winner last week.
First launched by Marketing.ie in 1993, Marketer of the Year is about recognising and honouring an individual’s excellence in marketing, specifically for work done in the past two years. The person is someone through strategy, innovation, communications and impact on the marketplace has made their brand, product or service an outstanding success.
Marketer of the Year is a Marketing.ie initiative sponsored by Alternatives.
The breakfast will be in The Irish Times offices from 7.30am- 9am on Tuesday, November 29.
