The Marketing Society Future Council’s festive event ‘How to Crack Christmas’ returns with a celebration of popular Christmas ads. Guinness ‘Home of the Black Stuff’, Coke’s ‘Holidays Are Coming’ and the iconic John Lewis ads come to mind. Sponsored by Dublin Live, the event is in the Tramline venue in Dublin city next Thursday from 6pm til late.
Guests are invited to look behind the scenes of some of the most prominent and emotive Christmas campaigns to date in Ireland, delve into the creative minds responsible for bringing the ‘there’s-something-in-my-eye’ style storytelling to our screens and listen as they recall their journey from the initial agency brief to the end result.
The speaker line-up includes Ann-Marie O’Brien, campaign manager, Three Ireland; John Anslow, advertising manager, Aldi Ireland; Eamon Sharkey, global head of fundraising and marketing, Goal and Catriona Campbell, managing director, The Public House. On the night there will be a series of spot prizes, Christmas-treats and festive drinks to enjoy.
Early bird tickets have already sold out, but there are tickets available for €15 or €10 per person for groups of four or more. Tickets are available on EventBrite here
