RTÉ Media Sales has agreed a 12-month sponsorship with Seat Ireland for 2fm Rising, supporting new Irish artists for the year ahead as chosen by an expert panel selecting 12 Irish music acts who they feel have real prospects for success. Each act is featured in prime-time broadcasts on 2fm with Studio 8 sessions and support across the station’s social networks.
The deal was brokered by PHD.
The deal includes up to eight branded stings and promos a day, four gigs and mentions on social media and online. Last year’s acts included Dermot Kennedy, Mango X Mathman and the Fontaines DC. This year’s list has Happyalone, Fia Moon, Inhaler, Pillow Queens, True Tides, Jyellowl, Rushes, Roe, Kojaque, Flynn, Tebi Rex & Wild Youth.
