The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) has signed a contract for a ten-year sound broadcasting service for the franchise area of Dublin city and county with Radio 2000, trading as 98FM. The contract is for a music-driven service for 25-44 year olds. The BAI was represented at the signings by chairperson Bob Collins (right) and chief executive Michael O’Keeffe (centre). 98FM was represented by Lucy Gaffney (left), chairperson and Alan McMahon, company secretary, Communicorp. The new contract runs from the start of November.
