The Association of Advertisers in Ireland (AAI) has postponed its March Toolkit breakfast seminar due to concerns about the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus. Windmill Lane creative director John Kennedy had been lined up to speak on the theme ‘Kill Your Darlings – And Other Lessons From 40 Years Of Storytelling’ in the latest Nuts and Bolts series.
The seminar was scheduled to be held in Dentsu Aegis Network offices on Tuesday, March 31.
Kennedy was to have talked about the key lessons Windmill Lane has learned in 40 years of navigating creative chaos. He planned to share insights into what makes great creative, how you can’t do good work without authenticity and emotion, and how, while the medium may have changed, crafted storytelling will always be at the heart of what we do.
AAI chief executive Barry Dooley said the event will now be rescheduled for later in the year.
