Students completing their masters in advertising at DIT Aungier Street college are taking their artwork to the streets of Dublin as part of their end of year project. To draw public interest, the students are taking an upfront approach in their quest for a career in advertising. The AdGrad 28 are presenting themselves as “wanted”.
In a bid to draw attention of potential employers, the students are running 6-sheet posters near the college on Aungier Street, as well as using Dublin landmarks like the statue of Thin Lizzy’s Phil Lynott in a guerilla marketing exercise. The students will make their end of year industry presentation in DIT on Thursday, June 4.
Two teams will present campaigns for The Irish Times and TV3’s Red Rock Garda soap.
