An Post and IAPI have made the decision to postpone the Direct Challenge until next year. IAPI CEO Charley Stoney said that while it was a pity, it was the right call to make. A key goal of the Direct Challenge is to send some of Ireland’s best creative talent to experience the full week at the Cannes Lions Festival and all it has to offer.
Stoney said that with the festival now postponed until 2021, it is only right to do the same.
“I’d like to thank everyone who got involved this year,” Stoney said. “We’re already working on some very special initiatives for early 2021, that we think will make up for the postponement and we look forward to celebrating your work in happier times, in the not-too-distant future.” The Direct Challenge will now recommence in March 2021.
The Cannes Lions Festival has been rescheduled for June 21-25 next year.
