Public relations consultant Valda Boardman has sold a major stake in her VBPR consultancy business to Marketing Network. After more than 10 years with agencies like O’Leary PR and The Communications Partnership, Boardman started up on her own in 2005. She worked as an in-house consultant to Bord Bia’s Origin Green and chaired the Marketing Society.
Marketing Network, run by Kieran Killeen, earned its reputation in promotions and direct marketing before expanding into digital services. The group’s previous PR unit was Prior Communications, founded by the late Sharon Prior in 1994. Boardman has led the agency in recent times for clients like Keelings, Manor Farm, Eircode and the Great Outdoors.
