Bookshops mark Irish week

Irish booksellers have selected 30 fiction, poetry, Irish-language and non-fiction titles to showcase what they see as the best of recent Irish books for a promotion to help boost Irish published titles, which account for only 15 per cent of bookshop sales in Ireland.
Great Irish Book Week runs from October 24th to the 31st. The titles include ‘The Irish Male: His Greatest Hits’ by Joseph O’Connor, Eddie Hobbs’s ‘Debt Busters: Managing Your Money Through the Recession’ and Tom Garvan’s new book, ‘Judging Lemass’.
