Brendan Buckley has been appointed global marketing director at Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard. Buckley has worked with the French drinks company, most famous for its Jameson whiskey, for over 17 years and was most recently director of strategy, innovation, insights and prestige brands. He headed up the Galway ad agency Impact Media for a short time.
His drinks industry experience also extends to the design of Irish themed pubs in the US. He worked with both the Irish Pub Company and Fado Pubs in Atlanta, Georgia for five and a half years. He has an honours BBS degree in marketing and economics from UL.
