Communications specialist and former TV presenter and journalist has a new book out on developing leadership skills in business. Called Perform as a Leader, the book explores the one recurring trait of every successful leader: the ability to ably communicate. Carmody claims her book provides the skills and strategies to take executives where they want to go.
As the managing director of MediaTraining.ie, the company co-owned by her husband, former Dragons’ Den investor Gavin Duffy, she writes about developing the art of presenting and public speaking, becoming a persuasive and memorable media performer, chairing meetings, coaching and motivating business teams and pitching for new business.
