B&A co-founder Graham Wilkinson dies

Graham Wilkinson

Graham Wilkinson, who 30 years ago helped launch research agency Behaviour & Attitudes (B&A), along with Des Byrne and Phelim O’Leary, has died “reluctantly”. The three men had worked together at Irish Marketing Surveys (IMS). B&A went on to develop a strong client base across a multitude of studies and become Ireland’s top qualitative research agency.

In more recent years, the founders put in place a succession plan and recruited a number of younger researchers to lead B&A forward, with Ian McShane as managing director. The consummate researcher, Graham Wilkinson will be remembered for his professionalism, loyalty and sense of humour. He had an abiding interest in motor sport and hill walking.

He was a former chairman of the Marketing Society.

He will be most missed by his wife Carol, son David and daughter Ruth.
