Coke names campaign expands

Coca-Cola Names

Coca-Cola Ireland has teamed up with MediaCom and Kinetic to promote the launch of an extra 100 names to the personalised ‘Share a Coke’ campaign. Earlier this year, Coke launched the campaign replacing the brand’s script on 500ml bottles with 150 of the most popular names in all of Ireland. Post-campaign research by Kinetic shows the ‘Share a Coke’ poster campaign was liked by 82 per cent of 15-24 year olds.

Scrolling metropoles and Adshel bus shelters were used to list the new names that have been added. A special vinyl of the creative is placed in front of the scrolling formats with a blank section cut-out over the name area. As the poster then scrolls, it reveals the list of some of the new names. The specials are running across Dublin city centre locations, including metropoles at Sean Moore Road, Merrion Road and Swords Road.

The Adshel network includes Stillorgan Road, Milltown, Ballybrack, Howth Road and Crumlin Road.
