British creative guru Patrick Collister is to visit Dublin to address an An Post breakfast seminar on how direct mail and digital can work as one. Collister, ex-Ogilvy, will use excerpts from William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet to show how strategies reflect the human values of respect, support and love.
Collister will give his talk in the Guinness Storehouse on Wednesday, April 28. Meanwhile, elsewhere on the talks circuit, former Fine Gael leader Alan Dukes, who is now chairman designate of Anglo Irish Bank, will be the guest speaker at the Irish Small and Medium Enterprises (ISME) annual lunch.
Dukes, who is a lobbying consultant at WHPR, will address ISME members in the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin on Friday, May 7. Tickets are €65 or a table for ten can be reserved for €600.
