Caterers Compass Group Ireland (CGI) has agreed a partnership with The Happy Pear which sees the roll-out of plant-based dining across locations across business and industry workplaces in the CGI network. Founded in Greystones, Co Wicklow in 2004 by twins David and Stephen Flynn, The Happy Pear brand promotes natural, healthy eating.
The partnership sees CGI offer vegan and vegetarian offerings, as well as signature sandwiches, salads, soups and hot food bowls. The Happy Pear hand-roasted coffee and cakes will also be available at CGI locations. In Ireland, CGI serves over 40,000 meals a day, across a broad clients portfolio of 130 businesses, education, leisure and hospitality.
CGI locations include Google, the Aviva Stadium and Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
The Happy Pear employs over 120 people and its foods are available through SuperValu.
