Content expert for Publishing 360

Julia Hutchison, Fresh Media

A woman considered to be one of the most influential figures in the UK content market is among the speakers who will address Magazine Ireland’s Publishing 360 conference in Dublin next week, Julia Hutchinson joined Group Fresh Media Group (FMG) as head of content last November after nine years as chief operating officer of the Content Marketing Association (CMA). At the CMA, Hutchison was responsible for delivering £60 million of business to the content marketing sector and driving it forward to become what is now a £1 billion industry.

While there, Hutchison also worked directly with Audi, John Lewis, RBS, Boden, Bang & Olufsen and Standard Life, providing a consultancy service to help them enter the world of content marketing. Prior to that, she was head of new business at Starcom, following senior commercial roles at Associated Newspapers and Sunday Business. She continues to be one of the UK’s most influential content experts.

Other speakers due to address Publishing 360 are Mark Wood, chef executive, Future plc; Kerin O’Connor, chief executive of The Week, the weekly magazine with the most subscriptions in Britain and Jeremy Leslie, founder and creative director of UK magazine and design consultancy, MagCulture. Publishing 360 is in the Herbert Suite at the Clyde Court Hotel in Ballsbridge from 8am-1pm next Wednesday, April 24.
