Thinkhouse’s head of creative Dave Byrne has been appointed to the youth agency’s board. Byrne is responsible for the agency’s recruitment, leadership and for developing a team of creative and communications specialists. He joined the agency in 2011 from Bodytonic, the music, culture and food company where he was an event producer and promoter.
Byrne has worked across a number of Thinkhouse’s PR, social media and events departments and since 2016 he has been responsible for the leadership of the agency’s creative production. He joins existing board members Jane McDaid (founder), David Coyle (head of commercial and operations) and Claire Hyland, who heads up the agency’s Youth Lab.
Thinkhouse clients include Heineken Ireland; Unilever, Barry’s Tea, Innocent, ESB/Electric Ireland, Musgrave’s Frank & Honest coffee brand, RTÉ, Lucozade Suntory, Intersnack’s Hunky Dory’s, Life Style Sports; Tony Chocolonely, Nespresso, Michael Kors and projects for tech giants Amazon, Dropbox, Twitter and Facebook.
Another recent agency win was My Impact – the Regional Waste Management Offices on behalf of the Department of Climate Action, Communications and the Environment. The agency’s services are delivered across fame, transformation and planet. The Youth Lab, Thinkhouse’s insights, strategy and planning department; recently hosted World War Z.
The event urges marketers to be inspired by youths and take action on climate change.
