RTÉ is screening a TV ad made by DCU School of Communcations students in 50 primetime slots in the coming week. The ads promote this month’s Guth Gafa International Documentary Festival in Malin, Co Donegal and the City of Derry. Janelle Kelly, Katie Liston, Daniel Power and Declan Hall, all second year BCs multimedia students, made the ad for their post production class lecturer, Davorka Naletilic, herself a freelance multimedia producer. Promos from other groups in the class will also feature during Guth Gafa’s Screen on the Green, a late-night, open-air movie screening sponsored by the LA Irish Film Festival and Invest NI.
