The Electric Media digital sales house has signed a contract to manage Guardian advertising in Ireland. The company will represent the British news publisher in web and mobile advertising. Electric Media chairman Dermot Hanrahan says the focus of deal is the ad monetisation of premium quality original content on respected household brands.
The Guardian is widely regarded as one of the world’s strongest and most respected news brands mainly targeted at intelligent and affluent consumers. Electric Media digital ad sales for The Irish Times and the BBC in Ireland. Over 1.7 million people visit Guardian content every month in Ireland and Hanrahan is confident the figure will rise further.
