Diageo launched a new outdoor campaign today in support of its sponsorship of the GAA Hurling All-Ireland senior championship. Entitled ‘The Power to Lift Us All’, the campaign aims to try and bring to life the way hurling and its players can inspire and entrall a nation. The campaign was created by Irish International and was shot by Kevin Griffin, with photo retouching by Taylor James.

Guinness brand manager Barry Fitzpatrick said last year’s final, which saw Tipperary defeat Kilkenny by 4-17 to 1-18, drew the biggest sports audience for RTE in 2010. The current campaign will extend to PR and digital activity. A partnership with Newstalk  includes the Guinness Hurling Greats series of recordings with players, managers, referees and fans.
