Ireland’s international PR agency Hume Brophy has appointed former special advisor and political director to Tánaiste Simon Coveney TD, Caitríona Fitzpatrick, as senior account director in public affairs. She will provide advice to clients in Ireland and overseas and will contribute to the agency’s strategies on Brexit and other trade issues.
Fitzpatrick spent 11 years working with Coveney.
Her experience extends across public affairs, political strategy, crisis management, speech writing and briefings, media planning and campaign management. She has worked in the Departments of Agriculture, Food & Marine, Defence, Housing, Planning & Local Government, Foreign Affairs & Trade with responsibility for Brexit.
She is a fluent Irish speaker and spent recent months on the roll out of a new flagship brand for Fáilte Ireland. Hume Brophy has also appointed account manager Eimear Coffey and Hannah Moore as account executive. Coffey ran the press office at PRL Group and worked with Ervia’s Gas Networks Ireland. Moore is a law graduate with agency experience.
